Behind every dental appointment is a team of people making sure your visit runs smoothly. At E&D Dental, our care team plays a central role in how comfortable, informed and supported you feel.
What do our dental hygienists do?
Dental hygienists focus on keeping your teeth and gums healthy over the long term. Their work includes:
- Scaling to remove plaque and tartar, using comfort measures for sensitive patients
- Supporting deep cleaning and gum care under the dentist's direction
- Showing you how to brush and clean between teeth effectively
- Helping you look after implants, crowns and dentures through regular maintenance
- Encouraging good habits in children through gentle, positive visits
Because hygienists often see patients more regularly than anyone else on the team, they are frequently the first to notice early signs of gum inflammation or other changes, and they pass these on to the dentist.
What do our patient coordinators do?
Patient coordinators are your guide through the clinic. They:
- Arrange appointments by phone and WhatsApp
- Help you complete health questionnaires and check insurance eligibility
- Explain estimates and the difference between covered and non-covered treatment; see pricing and insurance
- Answer questions between visits and help schedule follow-ups
- Help arrange English communication when requested in advance
