Who we are

Seoul E&D Dental Clinic (서울이랑드치과의원), often shortened to E&D Dental, is a neighborhood dental clinic located on the second floor of the Hanaro Building on Gosan-ro in Sanbon-dong, Gunpo-si. We opened our doors in December 2023 with a simple aim: to give people in Gunpo and the surrounding cities a place where dental care is explained honestly, planned carefully and delivered with as little discomfort as possible.

The clinic is led by Dr. Ryu Si-ho, our lead dentist, who works alongside our dental team and a care team of hygienists and patient coordinators.

What does the name "E&D" mean?

Our Korean name includes the syllable "rang" (랑), a word that means "together". It reflects how we see the relationship between patient and dentist. Treatment is not something done to you; it is a series of decisions we make together, based on what you need, what you want and what is realistic for your health and schedule.

How is care at E&D Dental different?

Our approach rests on three commitments, described in more detail on our philosophy page:

  • Walking with you, always like the first day. We aim to bring the same attention to your tenth visit that we brought to your first, and to involve you in every choice.
  • Thinking about your whole body. Experience with general-hospital cases shapes how we care for older adults and patients with chronic conditions. We review medical history, consider medications and favor regular check-ups and prevention so that problems are found early.
  • Explaining clearly. You should understand why a treatment is recommended and whether it needs to happen now or can wait. We use images from our 3D CBCT scanner and intraoral camera so you can see what we see.

What treatments do you provide?

We provide general and specialist-level procedures under one roof. Our main areas of focus include:

You can browse every procedure on our treatments overview.

How do you keep treatment comfortable?

Fear of pain is one of the most common reasons people put off visiting a dentist. To address this, we developed a 3-step painless anesthesia system: a topical gel or anesthetic gargle, cold numbing of the injection point with Endo-Frost, and a computer-controlled anesthesia device paired with electric-stimulation anesthesia. Each step is designed to reduce a different source of discomfort. We use this system for surgery and also for everyday care such as scaling.

What equipment does the clinic use?

Our equipment supports precision, hygiene and safety. It includes a low-dose 3D CBCT scanner, AnyCheck implant stability measurement, a UV implant surface activator, a Q-ray intraoral camera, UC ONE ultrasonic root-canal irrigation, a UV-C portable handpiece sterilizer, a KFDA-approved whitening device, a smart sensor surgical light, a TMJ physical therapy device and a patient vital-sign monitor. You can read about each item on our technology page or see the space on our clinic tour.

Where are you located?

We are at 2F (Units 201–202), Hanaro Building, 693 Gosan-ro, Sanbon-dong, Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi-do, about a 5-minute walk from Sanbon Station on Seoul Subway Line 4. Line 4 connects directly to central Seoul, so patients from Anyang, Ansan, Uiwang and Seoul can reach us by subway. Foreign residents are welcome; please see our guide for international patients.

How can I visit?

We are open Monday and Thursday until 20:30, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday until 18:30, and Saturday mornings until 14:00. Please confirm hours with the clinic before your visit. To prepare for your appointment, read our first-visit guide or reach us through the contact page.
