About Dr. Ryu Si-ho
Dr. Ryu Si-ho is the lead dentist of Seoul E&D Dental Clinic (서울이랑드치과의원), a dental clinic about a 5-minute walk from Sanbon Station in Gunpo, Gyeonggi-do. The clinic opened in December 2023. Dr. Ryu guides its approach to care, working alongside our dental team and care team.

"Always like the first day, walking with you"
The clinic's Korean name contains "rang" (랑), meaning "together". Dr. Ryu believes treatment decisions should be made jointly. Patients are encouraged to share their priorities and concerns, and options are discussed openly rather than presented as a single choice.
Whole-body health awareness
Experience with general-hospital cases informs how Dr. Ryu approaches patients with chronic illness and older adults. Medical history and medications are reviewed before treatment, vital signs can be monitored during procedures, and regular check-ups and prevention are emphasized so that problems are caught early. This is especially relevant for implant treatment for seniors and patients with chronic conditions.
Clear explanations
Dr. Ryu aims to make sure every patient understands why a treatment is needed and whether it must be done now. Using 3D CBCT images and intraoral camera photos, he explains findings visually so patients can make informed decisions without pressure. When there is more than one reasonable option, the advantages and limitations of each are discussed, including more conservative choices that preserve natural teeth.
